Yesterday (09/12/10) was Grandparents Day. Although my sons are older now and more into sending text messages versus writing their name on a card, I wanted to be sure to make my Mom a card. She knows this is my favorite stamp set right now so I wanted to be sure to use it. It also went with Cute Card Thursday challenge to use a "play on words". I also chose these colors for Pals Paper Arts Celebrity Color Challenge to use Olive, Turquoise and Yellow. I didn't have any true turquoise left but this was in the same family. The sketch is from Verves Anni-VERVE-sary Sketch Challenge. Unfortunately I was traveling that week and didn't get to play but saved the sketches because they were GREAT!
