Ready for Another Work Week

Hello and Happy Monday!   It's time to get started with another work week.  It was a chilly weekend which made for a great time to relax in the craft room to stamp and scrap.   Ahhh!  Loved it.

Here's my card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches #178.  It includes a "sneak peek" of the new Bubbly Enamel Shapes that will be out in the CTMH Expressions II Idea Book on April 1!  These little shapes are so cute and in fun colors!

I love Saturday's especially when I can find some Crafty MOJO and enjoy some stamping and scrapping!   So even though we were busy early today with some house remodel projects, laundry and some school work,  I found time tonight for some play time.

The sketch is from this week's Let's Scrap 111914 Sketch.  Unfortunately, my camera wasn't cooperating tonight and I'm leaving for out of town so I wanted to get this uploaded before I left.

It' worked perfectly for the page I wanted for Hollywood Studios.   My kids went for the day but of course, pictures were limited, LOL!

YOU ARE MY HAPPY!   LOL!  Saturdays are the best.  This weekend we're spending time with family and that's even better.

Last weekend was a fun weekend too though with the Virtual Card Making Party at OWH.   This is challenge for Sunday 070614, 0800.   Use OWH Sketch #232.   This is also a "wave good-bye" to more CTMH paper in my stash, Cherry - O.  Remember the Creative Basic packs they used to do?  I do miss those as they were GREAT for cards but there are lots of new products coming out August 1 so it's time to use this fun stuff to make room for more....

Ahhh June,  Don' you love it when the flowers start blooming!  I've got rosebuds and my lilies are opening beautifully.  I really like this CTMH Ivy Lane paper, so fun to use with the flowered background.  This technique is a "Tole" technique shared during SCS VSN.  You stamped the same image, a little darker, cut it out and add layers just to give the image some depth.  It was exactly as I pictured but I do like how it came out.   Enjoy!

It's Sunday ... ahhh, a wonderful time to rest, relax, scrap  and stamp.  I did all of the above, LOL.   I made lots of cards for SCS Virtual Scrap Night (VSN) yesterday so I thought I would just scrap today but I wanted to be sure to get my MOJO Monday #335 uploaded because it's contest week and who doesn't like a prize?! 

I actually CASED another gals cute MOJO Monday Card as I was inspired by hers.   I loved the colors.  I used the CTMH Lolly-Doodles again which has lots of fun colors.

Today is Day 68 of our SCS 100x100 challenge. It's going well.

...makes my heart smile!   Another blessed Sunday.  What a terrific weekend to just be home as we had more snow and cold.  Wow,  that Polar Vortex is slamming us with cold, yuck weather.   I guess it's good for my stamping and scrapping,  LOL!  

But COME SPRING!  I still had the bright colors from the Dream Pop paper out so I was in the mood to use that again.   This is Viva La Verve February Week 2 and it's day 54 in our SCS 100x100 Challenge.   It's going good,  that's for sure.

Ahhh Tuesday!  Welcome back to this week's Tuesday Fun.   I decided to use the Viva La Verve January Week 5 sketch for today's card.  I wasn't really planning to use flowers and butterflies as I should be making Valentines but I had this paper out and it just seemed fun to use it for another set of cards this week.  Gasp!   I only have one sheet left.   Since it's my goal to use up some old paper packs,  that's good.  

Today is Day 35 of our SCS 100x100 Challenge.   Still going strong in the challenge to do 100 cards in 100 days.  I've actually already made 100 as I don't usually just make one since I need cards for sending out weekly but I'd still like to try to get 100 different cards made in 100 days.

Good Times Are Better Shared!

Wow, what a fun Sunday!   Pretty much (except for some school stuff) I spent the day stampin' and scrappin'.  It was so fun and relaxing.   Tonight my family and I shared my Bday dinner since I'm going to be traveling for work on the day of my actual Bday.   When I saw this card sentiment, I knew that it fit for today!   We had such a nice dinner and of course, birthday cake!!  Woohoo! 

It's Day #20 for our 100x100 Challenge at SCS.   This card sketch is Week #3 for the Viva la Verve January Challenges. It also works for the "two faced" challenge over at H2H this week  as I used both sides of the Laughing Lola paper, It was super fun as I really like layers.
