Happy Thoughts!

Really this is some of my ALL TIME favorite paper from CTMH! It seems like the colors just go GREAT with any season. They also always seem to make the card peaceful and pleasant. I especially like the Juniper Satin Loop Ribbon, so pretty. This is for a good friend of mine going through some tough times. The sentiment, from Card Chatter set worked just perfectly. I was determined to use my butterfly dies tonight...guess it's my way of pretending is Spring out, LOL! No such luck here in Ohio, they even said possible flurries this weekend, ugh! Well, it's a great time to stay in and finish up my Christmas Cards! woohoo! Stamp On! Best Foot Forward

Happy Monday! I read an excerpt from Joel Osteen's new book and he talks about how Monday's can be better days if we make up our minds to focus on the positive and enjoy the good moments! I thought that was interesting because so often we can decide if our day is "good or bad" just by making up our minds one way or another. I did have to laugh though when I saw the sentiment for this stamp set as it went just perfectly.

I found this new sketch challenge for Friday's - Friday Sketch Challenge #3. Worked perfectly for this Halloween stamp set I wanted to use - Yay! Supplies: All CTMH - Paper: Olivia, Olive CS; Ink: Desert Sand, Chocolate; Stamps: Wicked SOTM August; Sparkle Brads

Wings with Art Philosophy!

WELCOME to October Sharing From the Heart Blog Hop! You should be landing here from Kristine's Blog. Always FUN, CTMH goodies to see each month. Unfortunately this month's post just didn't work out well for me. Of course, I had a scrapbook page all planned and ready for you to check out but I didn't get home in time from traveling for work to photo so I could post. I tried photoing tonight but just couldn't get the light good enough for it to be clear and not fuzzy. So, I had to re-group and come up with "plan B". I've been gone all week so time was of the essence if I hoped to spend some time with DH tonight. I thought this was a FUN option because I decided to see how quickly I could come up with a card using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. If you haven't ordered one yet,I suggest you do so quickly because I haven't taken this cartridge out of my Cricut since I received it and I love every die cut I find to use (even the lettering is awesome)! I think it took me longer to find the sketch I wanted to start from, which by the way, this came from Some Odd Girl Blog. Ran the papers through my Cricut and put the card together. I need to add a sentiment but since I'm not sure yet what I'm going to use this one for ... I'll add later. Sometimes, Quick is an AWESOME option!

Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully I'll get my scrapbook page photo'd soon and you can check it out! The next stop on our blog hop is Stephanie!
