Missing MOJO

We're half way through our 100x100 Challenge and all was good until this week.  I had lots of fun making cards almost daily ... and then "WHAM".   My MOJO went on vacation and it became more difficult.   LOL!    Tonight,  it was better but whew,  I hope by the weekend, it's back. 

It's day 51 of our SCS 100x100 Challenge and I decided instead of trying to make a card sketch work,  I'd just play with some scraps.   Once I took the pressure off and just begun to look through the little pieces of fun papers,  my card came together actually pretty quickly.   I know just who I'm going to send this card to.   One of the gals I work with got stranded at the airport for 7 hours today.  They sent out her luggage but her flight was canceled and she never got to depart.   We were able to laugh about it tonight and I just wanted to send her a smile as she now has to reschedule and try to track down her luggage!   Good times.

I used flourishes on my card tonight for the H2H Challenge this week.

Convention Swap Sharing #2

One day closer to Close To My Heart Convention time!  I've been busy using up "bulk" papers for swap cards and I had a few sheets left of Avonlea.   One of my favorite Art Philosophy Cricut Cart cuts is the butterfly.  This card inspiration was from SCS FS Stamper challenge.

Ahhh Friday!   If you've read my blog before you know I'm a GREAT Fan of Friday!   It's always "almost Friday" and if not "almost" it is.... All Good!   It is also time for Color Dare #37 - JUNIPER!
That's Right,   Let's mix it up a little and use Juniper with any of the neutrals you might have ... or colors as in this case.

I CASED this card from the current CTMH Idea Book, pg 82.   A few changes as I really like to use my embossing folders...if only CTMH would come out with some!   I've liked this card since the first time I saw it so the Juniper Challenge was just perfect.

Follow Your Dreams

Happy Valentines Day!  Sometimes Love comes in a variety of colors and today my "Valentine" is all done up in Pacifica and Sorbet because that's the color we're using this week for Color Dare #30.   This card is for a gal at work.  Right now,  many who have seniority have been offered the options for "buy outs" as we are re-structuring.  I SO LOVE my company for not just letting people go but offering the option to those that may want to either retire or do something new!   It's a tough decision for many of these folks.   Not me,  I'm not ready :)   



MOJO Monday #279 sketch and played along with the SCS LoveFest Challenge A.  Use items in the word "L-O-V-E".   (Mine: L - layers, O - Oval, V - Vanilla, E - Emboss).

Spring - Winter - Spring - Winter - Spring - Winter

UGH! It just seems like this year has been very crazy weather for January and the start of February. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining that we've not had snow it's just hard to go back and forth with nice weather then cold/snow weather ... It puts me in the mood for Spring Cards but it's not quite time. I really should be making more Valentines! More soon. This card is for one of my friends in our SCS Craft Girls Blog Group - Melina. It's her 14th Wedding Anniversary and she posted that her favorite colors are green and purple. It was just the motivation I needed to get out my "new" CTMH Sonoma Paper Pack and play.
