After Party

...sniff, sniff ... another 4th July come and gone.  I love fireworks and celebrating.  It was kind of quiet at my house but it was nice to have a day to just scrap and stamp!   This weekend is Operation Write Home Virtual Card Making Party.  Woohoo!  I love a good party and this one is awesome.  There are 5 challenges per day.   This card is challenge Saturday, 070514,  Challenge #2.   The challenge was to make an "I Miss You" card with at least 1 circle and 2 banners.   Since it's still early and I'm only on my first cup of coffee,  I just used the same Sketch the Hostess did,  MFT#180. 

Speaking of I Miss You... here's another fun CTMH Paper Pack that is retiring ... Free To be Me.  I will miss these fun colors but as you know, there are MORE COMING SOON so it's a good time to get creative, use this fun paper and make room.    I hope you're having a great Saturday!

This weekend I had the WONDERFUL Opportunity to spend time at the CTMH Convention - WOW!  If you've never attended a stamping convention - definitely if you get a chance, GO!   It was so much fun and I worked on lots of fun projects (can you say Mini Book), scrap pages and some adorable Cards!   Coming soon .... coming soon!   

This week our challenge for ABC Challenge #35 is to Just Get Inky --- Anything Goes!  Now how hard is that?   Not very -- come and play!

Hello (Spring) Love

Well....finally ... here is my card for Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #34.   I just couldn't believe how last week got so crazy but it just seemed like every minute was something unexpected so all plans went awry.   I'm not complaining...mostly good stuff but just very busy.   I was out of town for a work project for a few days,  got to visit with some friends and attend the MAC Championship B-Ball tournament and go to Michigan for friends Anniversary Party!   Whew!   This card was definitely done in stages of time each interupted, ha!   Finally tonight I got a chance to finish & upload.

The Color My Heart Color Dare #34 Challenge colors are Olive, Sweet Leaf and Goldrush.  Come and play!  You can use any colors close, it does not have to be CTMH but if you have CTMH,  that's good too!    Believe it or not,  I still had some Organdy Ribbon and brads.   The sketch is from last week's MOJO Monday #284.   I'm ready for Spring and looking forward to using more of my leftover "Dotty for You" paper!
