Snowball Fight

ok ... not really but I did have an awful fight with Blogger this week trying to get my photos on my Blog.  I'm sure it's not too hard for you to guess who won?   Well,  not really because here I am with my card but it sure caused lots of frustration in uploading.   I really like to have my upload done early.

ANYWAY .... welcome back to this week's Color Dare #27.    We're monochromatic this week with green --- Topiary, Sweet Leaf and New England Ivy.   I really struggle with monochromatic but I found a cute card to CASE from the Featured Stamper Challenge this week on SCS.   Well TGIF!   If you're in the North or Midwest,  stay warm and drive slow!   I hear more snow flurries are coming.

Supplies:   CTMH CS Topiary, Black, Sweet Leaf,  CTMH Stamps Winter Joy, CTMH Ink Black, Sweet Leaf,  CTMH Ribbon Rounds New England Ivy,  CTMH Buttons Assrtmt Green,  CTMH Sparkles

My first thought was to go with a silhouette type of stamp but none of the ones in my stash were inspiring enough. Love this idea.

I love the use of different colors for winter cards. Great job with this stamp. It is a wnderful stamp and which I had bought it last year. Your card is beautiful.

Lovely card, Lela! I'm so glad you persisted in getting this photo on your blog! I love how the ribbon trim frames the snowmen image. Your card makes me smile.

Love all yours snowmen cards this month. Green DOES make a winter great card, and the argyle ribbon reminds me of warm, wooly hats and scarves.

Hey, I used that same image on a card I recently made. Don't you love it? Your embossing goes really well with your snowman theme, and the green with the snowman is very refreshing!

I've Arrived!

In my usual fashion, late but with a GREAT story to tell. I didn't join the bloggers of the world until now because what would I have to share, at the time, I didn't think anything...well...I've changed my mind. I do want to share with all my friends and family-- my thoughts, creations and ideas. So, welcome to my World.

Looking out the Living Room Window I realized today was a good day to get those projects I've been putting off DONE! It was beautiful to look at but I sure didn't want to get out in it this morning! Good thing I was on vacation.
