Hello Color My Heart Friends - Wk #26

Welcome to My Blog!
Whew, January is just buzzing along and already we're at another week for our Color My Heart challenge!  Hopefully now that life has settled down after the holidays you're finding time for some creativity?  It's all good here!   I love January for Stamping and Scrapping!

This week's challenge is to use BLACK and WHITE  with just a POP of color.   It seemed more difficult to me than when I first saw it as it's hard to use just a "pop" of color.   I'm a color kind of gal,  LOL!   If only I could do "elegant" ...  I'm sure if you check out the other cards by the Design Team you'll see more FAB black and white w/ a pop of color creations!   My card is based on the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday.    I hope you'll challenge yourself to come and play along!

Supplies:  CTMH CS Black, White, Cranberry;  CTMH Stamps Noted Backgrounds,  CTMH Priceless Love Wordpuzzle,  CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cart,  CTMH Ribbon Rounds Cranberry, CTMH Big Brads,  CTMH Sparkles

I totally hear you about keeping it to a POP! It was tricky! Love what you did though! Love the sparkles on the two hearts. :)

Lela, I love your heart card. It makes me feel cozy (and red is my FAVORITE color!).

I can't tell you how many cards went into the "fix it later slush pile" because of that pop of color. LOL! Love your added sparkle.

I'd say this IS pretty elegant--the red heart and ribbon take it from great to gorgeous. Love that heart embossing, too.

I've Arrived!

In my usual fashion, late but with a GREAT story to tell. I didn't join the bloggers of the world until now because what would I have to share, at the time, I didn't think anything...well...I've changed my mind. I do want to share with all my friends and family-- my thoughts, creations and ideas. So, welcome to my World.

We'll Live, Love and Laugh 4 Life together!

Looking out the Living Room Window I realized today was a good day to get those projects I've been putting off DONE! It was beautiful to look at but I sure didn't want to get out in it this morning! Good thing I was on vacation.
