Grandparents Day

Yesterday (09/12/10) was Grandparents Day. Although my sons are older now and more into sending text messages versus writing their name on a card, I wanted to be sure to make my Mom a card. She knows this is my favorite stamp set right now so I wanted to be sure to use it. It also went with Cute Card Thursday challenge to use a "play on words". I also chose these colors for Pals Paper Arts Celebrity Color Challenge to use Olive, Turquoise and Yellow. I didn't have any true turquoise left but this was in the same family. The sketch is from Verves Anni-VERVE-sary Sketch Challenge. Unfortunately I was traveling that week and didn't get to play but saved the sketches because they were GREAT! Finally Some Card Mojo

Whew, I was able to get my card for Mojo Monday 150 done this week at the last minute! I've been scrappin' but for some reason getting ideas for cards just wasn't as easy. I really like how this one turned out! Especially since I got to use my new EK Success Leaf Border punch! Gotta Run, the family is waiting!
