Winter Hello

Brrr .... it's been snowing all night here so a winter card with snowflakes seemed appropriate, LOL!  Not to mention I wanted to play with these new stamps that just arrived this week.  These are Hostess Stamps  called "Got Snow?"  in the current CTMH Idea Book.   So Cute!   I'll be playing with these again soon .... This week was my oldest son's birthday ... aww!  I love that boy so much.  I made this card while thinking of him.  He's one of the loves of my life and he's a great young man.   He's all grown up and lives in another state so I won't get to see him until today,  since I already sent him a birthday card, this is the one I'm giving him with his cake, yay!

Hello Friday

Woot!  Woot!  Yesterday was my Bday and the best part was I got to spend it with my Mom, Sister and Family!   Happy Birthday to me, it's always a treat to be with my loved ones. 


Welcome to Friday and another Fun edition of Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #177.   This week we're playing along with Crystal Blue, Peacock and Whisper.  What a great combination.  I was scrapping and knew just the page I wanted to do with these colors.   I love that the Paper Fundamentals Pack comes with some fun words and complements and I used my CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge to cut the #1 and the Basketballs.  


I wanted to complete this page because it goes with the H2H "One" Challenge.  I hope you come and play along this week!   Let's see what you can do with these colors.

Scrappin' Weekend Feb #3

Well, one good thing about cold and snowy weather,  there's no where or reason to go out in it so I had another fun weekend of stampin' and scrappin'!   I guess January and February are good times for getting a lot done.  

One of the layouts I finished up this weekend was this week's Let's Scrap Sketch 021815.   When I first saw the sketch, I was going to make a card but I had already made several cards from "card sketches" this weekend so I really wanted to scrap the picts on my desk.  As soon as I pulled out these pictures,  I knew they would be perfect for this sketch with one photo 5x7.   This is my youngest DS and he's wonderfully unique!   I love how this page turned out,  of course,  I did a 2nd to go along with the sketch.

Woohoo!  This card is for a very special little girl,  I think she's 9.  I do know though her favorite color is Yellow so I wanted to be sure to use lots.   The card sketch inspiration is this week's Freshly Make Sketches #174.   It worked perfectly for the fun stripes of washi tape.

Just Chillin'

"Baby, it's COLD Outside"!!  My card is inspired by the song with the same title for this week's Sweet Stampin' Challenge.  Brrr.... these negative temperatures gotta go ... wow!  Here in Northeast Ohio this is the 2nd coldest temp recorded in 20 years .... we don't like those kind of records, LOL.

Well, TGIF!   I hope you get to stay in and stamp / scrap this weekend.  I know that's my plan here.  We're celebrating Friday at Color My Heart Color Dare #130 with a WHISPER and WHITE challenge this week!   I used the CAS(E) #111 Sketch for Inspiration.

Still the One ...

I have to admit, 27 years later and my DH is still the one I would choose to marry again.  Oh sure, we have moments but he's really good to me.  He always has been. In this bad weather,  he goes out every morning and cleans off my car not to mention  salts and scrapes the walk so it's easy to get there.  He watches the weather for me and keeps me posted.   I just decided before February was over completely,  he deserved one more Valentine.  I'd been wanting to cut out that cute little "You + Me" from the Artbooking Cartridge and here it is!

This inspiration came from this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch #95.

Holiday 14 Over

well... yup, it's that time for me ... time to go back to work.  If you've been to my blog recently, you've seen that I've been having a CRAFTY good time as I've been off work.  Holidays over and it's now time to get back at it.  2nd half of our fiscal year at work and time to be busy.

I hope though I get to keep playing along with some of my favorite challenges as I've organized and sorted my list so it should be easier to keep track of them, yay! 

My card today is inspired by the sketch at Atlantic Hearts #88.  Fun to make square again.  This is also my entry for the Friday Mashup #191, winter/snowflake theme.

More Scrappin December Day 30 ... Love It

Tonight I had more time for scrappin',  I actually have stamped or scrapped every day since last Friday when my DS went back to college.   That's what is SO wonderful about time off work.  Of course, my day job pays for my hobby so ... LOL.  (Circle of Life).   This fun page I had to run and get pictures printed this afternoon (another advantage) so I could scrap these using the inspiration from the Let's Scrap Sketch 122414.   I have a few more pages to share so I'll be back for more!

Celebrating December Day #2 Oh Joy

I'm Back ... it's Day 2 and I have another fun creation to share with you.  There is SO MUCH fun inspiration to find on some of my favorite Challenge Blogs.   Today's was no different!

Yup, Round and Scalloped.  This adorable idea is from this week's Deconstructed Sketch #178.  I loved the inspiration for something different.  I also played along with this weeks Paper Players Tic - Tac- Toe Challenge #224.   I used the Diagonal Squares - Tree, Embossing and Glitter.

Oh Baby ... First Smiles

This weekend over at SplitcoastStampers (SCS) we're having a Virtual Scrapbooking Nights (VSBN) Crop.   It's a few days of scrap challenges which are always great inspiration for getting pages done.  The first "preview" challenge was posted today and it was all about "Babies" since the theme this month is "Celebrating Friends and Family".   

This is my oldest son, Brandon when he was a couple months old. He was SUCH a good smiler! I also made this for the "No"vember Heart 2 Heart Scrapbooking Challenge which was to use no DSP, just cardstock. It went perfectly with this picture.

Look Whoos Here ...

Fun, Fun!   I actually got quite a few scrap pages done in late July which is good since I still have LOTS of pictures to create pages for.   This is one of my favorite as I got the opportunity to go to CTMH Convention and Jeanette Lynton, Founder and CEO of CTMH was interviewed during the last day of the event.   She's such an Inspiration!   What a great business lady!    This week at Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #54 we're using Champagne or Cashmere with your choice of colors.  I've been using Cashmere for my convention pages and on this one I used the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.   If you haven't seen the images yet, be sure to check it out - AWESOME!
