Skating In for December Day #15

Woohoo....10 days, 10 days....I'm actually more on countdown for my Holiday Time off at this point, LOL!   Not that I don't love Christmas with my family but I truly love that it comes with lots of days off to hang out at home.  

This weekend it was VSN (Virtual Scrap Nights) over at SCS and the challenge was to use a stamp with "skates" or "skating".   I had more choice of stamps than I realized but love this little elf on his candy cane skates, hahaha.    I used Freshly Made Sketches #166 for this one.

Still Thinking of You!

I'm just getting into the mode to make Christmas Cards, LOL! I did this last year too. It's just something about the Holiday that brings it out in me. Much easier for me to make my Christmas cards right after Christmas so that's just what I'm working on this week. It sure helped last year to get all my cards designed and pretty much finished during December and January however, I still had cards to make this November for my Mom so this year I hope to do both of ours for next year. This sketch is from H2H Challenges from this Summer. Of course, I'm still playing with my CTMH Jingle scraps! 2nd Challenge

This 2nd card is from the Mojo Monday 151 sketch challenge. While I was playing w/ the Merry Pursuit Elves, I thought I would this one too! These are my favorite colors from CTMH right now - Tulip, Juniper and Sorbet (which I didn't use on this one). I'll be sad when I've used up this Jingle paper but lots more fun papers coming in September!

Using My Favorites

This first card is for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge for this week. I'm a little behind due to some work travel but I did get it done! Not sure why these stamps were out on my desk but they were so I went ahead and used them. LOL! Maybe I was thinking at this point that "cooler" temperatures would be nice? Ha! Just like the elves.
