Christmas Wishes

It's almost time for the 10 day countdown to be here ... wow! For me though, the closer we get to Christmas, the calmer it gets. This week should be the last of the chaos at work and then we'll go into "holiday" mode for a couple weeks which will be really nice! This weekend I got to play along with the Color My Heart Color Dare #172 and I used the sketch at Atlantic Hearts #137.

Stamp, stamp and stamp!

December and it's the best time to get out those stamps and get busy .... WELCOME to our December Technique SOTM Blog Hop!   No surprise here, we're talking Stamping! 



That's right, it's such a great season to stamp! If you just came from Darlys' Blog, you hopping along on the right path.   I'm sure you'll see lots of fun stamping projects.


CTMH has such great stamps especially for Holidays.  I think Christmas is my favorite time to stamp and make cards.  Of course, I love to add stamps as embellishments for my pages as well. 


I've made my Christmas cards now for years, even before I was with CTMH.  It is a strange thought to me not to stamp my cards.  This year I also made some extras since I plan to go to CTMH Convention and it's always fun to have extra cards for swapping.


Here's my card.   I used a Sweet Sunday Sketch.  I stamped the wreath, added red and another layer with another stamps.  I then inked the edges of the circle to make it a little softer around the edges.  I added the bird once the card was completed as it needed a little chocolate color.   That's what's great about Stamping, it's always easy to add "pops" of color.

Celebrating A New Year

Holidays Coming Soon

Oh Dear

it's coming ... cold weather .... it's coming, ugh.   Today my card is for the first "Hope You Can Cling" Challenge at SCS .  The challenge is to make a card showcasing your least favorite weather , for me it's cold and snow I don't like.  Ugh.   Maybe someday I'll live further south and will just see pictures of the white stuff,  haha!   For now though, shopping for new boots.

Positivity

Oh yeah, this week at work we're going for a week of .... Positivity!  No Negative comments (or thinking) allowed, LOL!   The whole premise is that we control our own emotions and attitudes.  It will be tough because it's easy to get swallowed in frustration but will be good to work at staying optimistic!  

I'm grateful they care!   This inspired my card for today.  I used the colors for the Sb.com October Card Challenge Color Category and Tuesday Morning Sketches #320.

Whew, Fall blew into Ohio this weekend and it has really brought cooler temps but some lovely color leaves.  I was inspired by the pretty colors swirling around the yard.

In Love with Today

Actually, yesterday ... Monday the 7th was perfect!   We got to celebrate my oldest son birthday with him as he was home for the weekend, which was great!  I also had plenty of time to scrap and stamp which was really fun too!

Just For Fun

My oldest son just moved into a house with some other guys.   We spent most of this  weekend getting him moved and situated, it was fun.  His first purchase, a Keurig, LOL!   That made me laugh as I love coffee as well.  I thought this would be a fun card to send off to his new address.

I'm very much enjoying the Summer.  I finished my BA in Transportation so classes are done!
