Happy Birthday DH!

Well, I made him a card and a photo frame of picts of the boys and he did like that! I also made him a cake so we had fun even if he didn't want to admit that! Ha! Today was one BEAUTIFUL Fall Day here in Ohio! I went to work on my H2H Challenge to create a Birthday Card and when I finished up I was very pleased with the outcome...but it made me laugh because next on my list was to make a Birthday Card for my hubby whose bday is Tuesday, LOL! Well, this card won't work but I have some other challenges to finish up so coming up with another card for him won't be too difficult! The sketch is Mojo Monday 159. Woohoo! Another layout done for LOAD (LayOut A Day) Challenge at Even More Scrapping! I'm slowly but surely getting caught up. Even if I don't, striving for 31 layouts for this month will really help me get caught up on my Yearly Goal. I need to do 47 pages for each of the next 3 months. I got a little behind in June and July but no matter how many I get done my Scrapbooks are still coming along nicely.

These pages are from our visit to SeaWorld this year. It was so fun to remember the first time we saw this show at SeaWorld. JT and I were talking about what age they were the first time and how much they enjoyed it then....we still enjoyed it this time as well. I'm trying to get caught up on my Scrappin' layouts for the LOAD (LayOut A Day) Challenge on Cheryl's (Even More Scrapping) Blog. I started late but hope to get caught up here soon! I've picked up these picts several times to get them scrapped and then ended up scrapping others. So glad they're on the page. This layout is from pg 58 of the CTMH Spring 2010 Catty. I really liked it as soon as I saw it and had it marked to scraplift. The stamps were from a goody box I got...how fun!

Falling For You

Mom and I were talking the other day and one thing she misses about Michigan is the Fall and the Fall colors. I wanted to make a card for her that would have these colors in it and use leaves. I made 2, one for her and one for my son. I decided to incorporate that into the H2H Challenge for this week. I used alpha stamps, for a boy and chocolate - ABC! I think it looks better IRL than the picture, but it's ready to mail to 2 favorite people! I'd Pick You

Oh yes, it's Sunday night and it's time for me to upload my Mojo Monday 158 Challenge card. It seems the weekends lately are the only time I have to stamp and scrap to get some of the challenges I'd like to play done and uploaded. This weekend was especially nice for that as it was cold and rainy outside, my youngest son was gone and my hubby had his own projects he wanted to get done so that left me lots of uninterrupted time in the scrap room. It was the perfect weekend for it as it was World Card Making Day Saturday and I had lots of cards I wanted to get done. This was the sketch from Mojo Monday but it was also the Flourishes Challenge on SCS. Woohoo fun! I got this paper from Cheryl and I don't know what it's called but I sure like the colors!
