4-3-2-1 --- FIRE!

This layout is for one of the VSBN Challenges on SCS this weekend -- use numbers. I rarely use numbers to show sequence of photos but like how it turned out. Ahhh, this page makes me want to be on vacation! JT and I had such a TERRIFIC time up at Mackinaw Island! These pages are us at the Fort watching a Cannon Demonstration. Very fun! Challenge Me!

This is for the VSBN Challenge on Splitcoast. Every Friday for the last month, we've been having scrap challenges. Last Friday's was to post a layout with the word "home" in the title. I couldn't find pictures or an idea until Monday. As soon as I took the picture of JT, I KNEW this was the photo I was going to use for this challenge. It's always good when it "clicks", kwim?! Scrapbook Supplies: BG Recess, SU! Real Rust, Wild Asparagus Boy Calendar. Ink: SU! Real Rust,. Stamps: CTMH Legendary Moments. Letters: Amer Craft Thickers

The View

This layout was inspired from a Sketch out of Scrapbooks etc. Page Planner 2007. This is me and JT at Mackinaw Island. We're visiting a very beautiful spot - Arch Rock. Scrapbook Supplies: Paper - BG Vagabond, Stamps SU! Petal Prints, Ink SU! Sahara Sand

Let's Party!

"Spring is Nature's Way of saying, Let's Party"! When I saw this quote in a book, I just knew it was perfect for these pictures! We had such a FUN walk in the park that day. It's a beautiful place we discovered when we were looking for walking trails. I really like how these pages turned out, it was an idea from "Canadian Scrapbooker" Summer 2007 ed. On pg 2, I added a pocket which includes some additional pictures and the park map. Scrapbook Supplies: All Paper and Ink - SU! Letter Stamps CTMH.

Text Me Babe!

It seems like now days the only way I get to talk to my oldest son is through "texting" him. He's so busy being 17 that he's hardly ever home between school, work and friends. I'm not sure what he would do without his cell phone, laugh! He doesn't ever remember a time when we didn't have one. He got one early because he was away from home often with is Gymnastics. He's always up-to-date on his social calendar and has time for quick "Hello's" to his Mama! This was for Serendipity Scrapbook Sketch-a-pa-looza Challenge! Scrapbook Supplies: Paper - SU! Wild Wasabi Textured C/S, Summer Sun. Rub-Ons - SU! Love & Happiness

Spring Fun

JT & I have had ALOT of FUN discovering great walking spots in the parks around our house! This was such a lovely Spring day for us to get out. We have such an enjoyable time together walking and talking. This layout was for the Sketch-a-pa-looza Challenge at Serendipity Scrapbooks. scrapbook Supplies: Paper - CM Jewel Green, SU! Ruby Red. Stamps: CTMH Adorning Corners. Ink: CTMH Olive, SU! Ruby Red

Sometimes

Sometimes our kitty (a.k.a "BK") and our dog, Meme get along and play well together while they're outside. Other times...they live up to the saying "Fight like cats and dogs"...LOL! While out taking pictures I captured some candid moments of them playing around. We love to watch out the window at their antics. The layout is from my friend Sally's blog - Imagine & Inspire. I usually use her SCS sketches but found this "extra" one on her blog and decided it was perfect for these picts. Scrapbook Supplies: Paper - CM Shades of Green, SU! Old Olive, Basic Black. Stamps: SU! Baroque Motifs. Ink: Versamark, Silver Emboss Powder. Letters: Colorbok Sticky Alpha Stax
