We had a WONDERFUL time on our Spring Break trip! As I mentioned, this was our road trip through VA & NC. We saw many great sites. It was beautiful weather & I think the sunshine made the greens look even more like Spring! I snapped lots of picts of our journey. I thought they went great with the CTMH Veranda papers.

Happy Easter!
I scrapped this photo for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week. What a fun pict to scrap and it worked perfectly for the challenge. The challenge was:
This is a 1/2/3 challenge. Here are the requirements:
*Use 1 stamped image (not 1 set, but 1 image)
*Use 2 different patterned papers
*Use 3 embellishments - these can be 3 of the same thing or 3 different things
I used CTMH Tinkerin'. I bought that paper thinking I would use it for some of my older picts I need to get scrapped and yet I've used it all on current pages, LOL! I used my favorite Doodle Alpha Stamps and the fun Badge Buttons and Stickease that matches the Tinkerin' Papers.

Come On Vacation With Me
This year my goal is to "keep up" with JT scrapbook. I only really have one to work on now that BR is away at college and I find that I much more enjoy scrapping "current" pictures so if I stay relatively up-to-date, I should have the book done by the end of the year. I'm alittle out of sequence because I'm scrapping Spring Break before our March Florida trip but I hope to get those picts scrapped next weekend at the Crop.
We decided for Spring Break we could go on a "Road Trip" for a few days and enjoy the sites and scenery in Virginia and North Carolina. It's just what we did. Although it was early Spring, we still had lots of warm weather, and green to see! It was great fun! We even stayed longer than we thought.
I made this page using up the last of the CTMH Promise of Spring Paper I had. I really liked that kit and the colors. The stamps are CTMH Smiles and Sans Serif Capitals

New Challenge Blog - Heart 2 Heart
This week kicked off a fun new challenge blog -- Heart 2 Heart! Be sure to check it out every Monday as there is a new challenge posted. This week the challenge was a color challenge
I was able to get 3 projects done using these colors...well, similar. I didn't have "sunflower" so I improvised with Honey. My first project is a gift for a friend. I decided she needed a "pick me up" so I made her a "spa package". I used envelopes and stamped them putting them together. Folded up, it all ties up nicely into a little gift package. The stamps are CTMH Smiles & Freespirit. The colors: Sweet Leaf, Honey, Chocolate, Twilight & Kiwi.
Of course, I just had to make a scrapbook page as well....I used Sweet Leaf Textured CS for the base. I've been wanting to try some sanding which I did on the Cocoa CS. I added Honey CS for backing the pictures and organdy ribbon. I also used the Clear Shapes. The stamps were again the Smiles set. I also used the birds from Felicity. With the left over CS plus some Emporium, I made the card!
