Hugs and Wishes

Ahhh June,  Don' you love it when the flowers start blooming!  I've got rosebuds and my lilies are opening beautifully.  I really like this CTMH Ivy Lane paper, so fun to use with the flowered background.  This technique is a "Tole" technique shared during SCS VSN.  You stamped the same image, a little darker, cut it out and add layers just to give the image some depth.  It was exactly as I pictured but I do like how it came out.   Enjoy!

One's Destination

Ahhh...just back from vacation and struggling to get back into reality of every day busy-ness.  It was so nice to just disconnect for a week at the beach,  I felt truly blessed.    I hope June is a little less crazy than May was.   At least it has started out this way ...

Happy Birthday to my "baby" who is 20 today!   I'm so glad we got to be together on his birthday,  it's just not something you get used to as a Mom when they're older if you don't get to celebrate on the day with them. 

My card today was inspired from SCS VSN (Virtual Stamp Nights) Color Challenge - Lemonade!  It was a color challenge to use Yellow, Orange, and Green.  I also used the MOJO Monday #348 Card Sketch.  It was fun to be creating again!

Oh Yes ... Magical ....

"Maybe I can't stop the downpour, but I will always join you for a walk in the rain."  Author Unknown.   These picts are from Sunday after the CTMH Convention at the Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL.   I had the luxury of having some time for a walk around the resort.   Even though it was raining,  the scenery and time spent exploring was still "magical" as it was so relaxing and I had just had 3 days of SUPER FUN times at convention!   

The layout is from the May 2 Page Sketch Challenge at scrapbook.com and it is also for the H2H May Scrap Challenge to finish a page that is "Magical".   This was truly a great time.

Ya Gotta Love MOJO

Finally,  finally,  finally ... I was just sharing with my friend today that I have been missing my card creating MOJO for some time now and it was frustrating... however, I'm happy to report,  I think it's back somewhat.   Tonight I finished up some cards and I'm happy I found the Inspiration to get stamping again,  whew!   MOJO sure is quirky?   I'm going to credit it to the great morning I spent at coffee with friends.

A Blessed Sunday

What a FUN, FUN Weekend!   Yay for National Scrapbooking Day which was yesterday.  I had a great time scrapping with my Scrappy Friends over at SCS.   There were lots of pages done and inspiration shared.  

But today is a new day and it is time to make cards, especially a Mother's Day Card since it's next weekend and I need to get it in the mail tomorrow.   When my Mom sees this quote, she'll laugh!  She's gonna love it!   

The sketch is from this week's MOJO Monday#343.   This is also some of my favorite CTMH Papers!  It's all good, especially since it's done and ready to mail.
